Pastor Robert Driver-Bishop has served as Redeemer's Lead Pastor since September 2006. He came to Redeemer after serving at Grace Lutheran, a large ELCA church northwest of Chicago. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, and McCormick Presbyterian Seminary.
For 20 years Pastor Bob has served congregations, campus ministry, and served as a director of communication for the national Lutheran church. His wife, Terri, also a pastor, is from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Their daughter Anna attends Savannah College of Art & Design.
Pastor Driver-Bishop is also the author of multiple books. His latest book, People of Purpose: 40 Life Lessons from the New Testament is a response to Rick Warren's best seller, The Purpose Driven Life. Pastor Driver-Bishop and Eric Burtness, author of A Life Worth Leading, are two of Augsburg-Fortress best selling authors and are co-writing a book that will be finished early next year.
Rev. Jeffrey Wilson began his ministry as Redeemer in June 2002. Pastor Wilson graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity designation, having served his internship at Redeemer from June 2000 - June 2001. Prior to attending seminary, he earned a B.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX and subsequently worked as a computer programmer in Houston for six years.
Pastor Wilson was born in Wilmington, DE, but moved with his family to Orange, TX where he lived until high school graduation. He lives with his wife, Vicki, and daughter, Caroline, in McLean, VA, where he enjoys music, reading, gardening, and cooking.
