Come in costume, play games, make crafts, AND Help the Homeless all at the Halloween Fun Fair featuring the "Mini Walkathon" held at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in McLean on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
All children in the community are welcome with a parent or responsible guardian and are encouraged to come in costume to participate in the Halloween festivities. The children can feast on pizza, cook- ies and other treats. They can participate in our costume contest, make a variety of spooky crafts and join in one of the many Halloween games. A free will offering will be accepted for the Fun Fair.
Children can also register and participate in the "Mini Walkathon", a kid friendly version of the 18th annual "Help the Homeless Walkathon." There is a $15 registration for the Mini-Walkathon and children participating will receive a T-Shirt. All proceeds benefit the N Street Village where homeless women receive meals, clothing, shelter and affordable housing, as well as substance abuse and mental health services.
