Explanation:
Confirmation is a time of study and reflection as each person comes to understand their faith and their relationship to God as God's child in a way that makes sense to them. Through our Confirmation classes, we explain the Christian faith through the study of Luther's Catechism.

The best way to learn about faith in God is through other people - especially family and other church members. Faith Interviews give you an opportunity to hear how other people explain and practice their faith.

Assignment:

1. Conduct two Faith Interviews - 1 with a family member and 1 with an adult Christian, preferably a member of the church.
2. Ask the following questions:
   • What is the role of faith in your life?
   • Where has your faith helped you?
3. Write a brief (half-page) summary of what you learned from each interview.
