Chancel Care

Chancel care members (sacristans) care for the worship space of the Church: its furnishings, paraments, linens, and sacramental vessels. Chancel care members work in teams and prepare the chancel area for the services of the Church, including preparing the altar for Holy Communion. Choirs

Choral music is part of all of our services at Redeemer. For information about our choirs and their rehearsal times see the music page.

Communion Assistance

Communion assistants help in the administration of the sacrament of Holy Communion during all worship services. For more information, contact Maria Retter at (703)517-8222 or by email at mariaretter@juno.com.

Hosts

Hosts welcome worshipers to the church and assist visitors.

Readers

Readers assist in the 8:30 and 11:00 Sunday services by reading the Bible lessons for the day. Readers are sent the passages prior to the service. For more information, contact Maria Retter at (703)517-8222 or by email at mariaretter@juno.com.

Ushers

Ushers assist in worship management and create a welcoming and safe worship environment.
