TableTalk is a small-group ministry in which participants explore questions of faith, build relationships, and deepen commitments to discipleship. In accord with our Lutheran tradition, we gather as one people in Christ for Study, Talk, and Fellowship.
At TableTalk we explore the Bible, systematic theology, ethics, church history, science and religion, and much, much more. Some of our Prior Areas of Study are:
Early Christian Writings & the Thought World of Early Christians
New Testament Ecclesiology
Christian Persecution in the Modern World
Modern Understandings of Religion
Historical and Modern Concepts of God
Lutheran and Reformed Traditions
The Church in the Secular World: Science, Culture, and Religion
Each week we discuss an essay or other writing in the area which we are studying, taking a historical and systematic approach to theological issues that affect the contemporary church. Readings and discussion materials are provided via email.
TableTalk is a fully-hybrid ministry, and each Sunday morning we have a mix of in-person and Zoom participants.
